NewMoonNEW MOON IN CAPRICORN

JAN. 18TH, 2007 - 11:01 PM, EST

The Sun and Moon come together in Capricorn at 11:01 PM, EST. Capricorn is ruled by Saturn, the Angel of Discipline. The symbol is the goat climbing carefully up the mountain of success. Itís time to write down your goals and take some steps towards achieving them. Success happens one step at a time, one day at a time. On this New Moon be determined and resolute that whatever you set out to do, youíll be successful.

On the weather front, storms are wreaking havoc across the country and quickly moving towards the Northeast. Say goodbye to the balmy weather and hello to Winter. Well, Capricorn is the sign of winter so weíll have to deal with it. It might help if you decide to up your intake of vitamins, especially zinc and Vitamin C. While the pharmaceutical companies are dunning us with fearful ads about colds or flu, you can use the power of Capricorn to refuse to accept that the world is contagious and youíre going to catch something. So bundle up and stay warm in body, mind and spirit. Some of us are starting our Perfect Weight regiment, declaring that our bodies are healthy and perfect, especially on the New Moon should lift our spirits and regulate our metabolism. Letís be thankful for our bodies and promise not to think or say negative things about it, or the food that we eat. Keep in mind that in many parts of the world, people donít have enough to eat. Saying a prayer of gratitude each time you eat anything, will help you to keep things in perspective.

Capricorn is a resourceful sign with the keywords ìI Useî. Itís time to use your spiritual muscles to stay focused on the goals you set for yourself. I know you can do it. If you believe it and conceive it you can achieve it.

Love & Light, Ayesha

FullMoonFULL MOON IN CANCER

WEDNESDAY, Dec. 3rd, 2006 – EST

It’s the Full Moon in Cancer, the water sign, ruled by the Moon, that says “I Feel”. So most of us will be feeling love and compassion for others, or focusing our increased imaginations on our goals, meditating, praying. Well that’s if we’re tuned in and conscious. Others will be whining and complaining, taking offense at any slight, feeling nauseous because we gave into the temptation to eat rich and fattening foods. The good thing is the Full Moon comes in the middle of the week, on the day we’re expected to return to school or to work. The holidays have come and gone, and there is that typical emotional letdown after the festivities are over. Plus, over the weekend we were bombarded with news about deaths, executions of prominent people, which affects the collective emotional barometer. Even the last holiday…New Year’s Eve…ended with torrential rains
in some parts, snow in others. Cancer is a water sign so precipitation was to be expected.

However the question is: “How are you handling your emotions?” Was the holiday all that you anticipated it to be? Did you overspend on gifts to prove your love, while making the corporations richer? Did you over eat and drink at holiday parties? If you answered yes to the last two questions, then you can expect to feel a little off centered or experience an emotional let down. Too much stress, even if it’s good stress takes a toll on the body. Our suggestion is that you eat lightly, drink enough water, and kinda flow through this Full Moon period, which began on the 1st and ends on the 4th. You could also do yourself a favor and go on a news fast for the day. You’ll catch up on what you feel you’ve missed after the Full Moon passes. You could also decide to start a diet, or a workout program and do something good for your body. Also, this particular Full Moon In Cancer is excellent time for meditation, prayer and visualizing. You might find that getting an extra hours sleep will help your body to get on track again. It’s time to stay out of controversies, to be the witness of, but not participator in arguments involving hot button issues, like, religion, race, politics. You could play peacemaker to people who just can’t help sharing their opinions with others. There’s a time to speak and a time to be silent. Full Moon times, especially in sensitive emotional Cancer, is time to take a deep breath before you respond or react to anything you read, see, or hear.

The Full Moon in Cancer happens every January. It’s time to do some self nurturing, self pampering, and to slow down. It’ll be back again next year, and maybe, just maybe you’ll be more prepared for it.
Love & Light, Ayesha
