The Full Moon in Leo will be shining brightly in the night skies on Friday, Feb. 2, 2007, however many of us will be feeling the energy two days before and one day after the actual event. When the Full Moon appears on or near the weekend, it seems to create dramatic news, weather or happenings that you just can't ignore. Since the Full Moon will be in Leo, it's time to be regal and to bypass the temptation to stoop or give into to lower vibrations. Be the witness of the events around you without feeling the need to get personally involved. Leo is a divinely creative sign, and this energy will boost the energy to create something new, or to express our gifts and talents. The positive use of this energy would be to take in a musical concert, or play, or to just stay home and watch movies. Leo is the sign that says "I Will" so the collective will will be strong while the Full Moon is in Leo. The will to quit old habits, or to take the high road is much better than trying to control the people or events in your life. It's how you use your personal power that really matters with the Full Moon in Leo. So as others seek to spend time reacting to what they perceive as disrespect or personal disappointments, spend your time loving yourself and sending love to others, regardless of the circumstance. Leo is the sign that rules the 5th House in the astrological chart...this is the house of Love, Creativity and Children. Connect to your significant other and let him or her know that you love them. If there's no personal love now, spend time creating your list of characteristics for your Divine Right Mate. Use your heightened creativity to imagine how you'll feel when your love comes into your life. Working on a creative talent or hobby will also be a joyful and fun experience. Rediscovering a hidden talent can also boost your feelings of joy. If you have children, spend time being with them. If you don't have children, you could opt for spending time with someone else's child, and give their parents a temporary break. The New Moon will be in Aquarius on Saturday, February 17th. Nows the time to set new goals and to write them down. Aquarius is the sign that rules all of humanity. With Neptune planet of visions and dreams in Aquarius now, the New Moon will make a connection. The visions in your mind will increase, at day or night, so make sure that you keep a note pad with you and catch whatever messages that may come to you. This is a great day to think about giving back to the community or getting involved in a group designed to help the less fortunate. Just keep in mind that we're all connected and we have a spiritual duty to help others. And when you help someone else, you're really helping yourself. No matter what condition your life is in now, you can help someone who's in need. Tithing time and/or money to your favorite organization is a way to temporarily forget about your own needs. It's has been my experience that people who are depressed or disappointed with the way their life is turning out...are often people who's only focus is self. The happiest people I know are people who help others. Even if you don't have the money (now), you can say a prayer for someone else and it won't cost you anything but some time. What you pray for others, you pray for yourself, so it's a win win situation when you take time out to pray for someone else. You don't have to know the people you pray for. You could see something on the news and send out a powerful prayer and it'll be felt. When we spend too much time thinking about our own situations, there's a tendency to want to change it and the thinking goes inward. We could isolate ourselves and not want to answer the phone or go out while we're worrying about a problem. But if you bypass the temptation to be alone with your worries, you'll find that the energy lifts, solutions come to mind, or you meet someone who has the answer to what's challenging you now. Aquarius rules the 11th House of Friends and its a good idea to develop new friendships or to reach out to the people in your life whom you trust. Aquarius is opposite Leo in the zodiac.
