NewMoonNEW MOON IN TAURUS

Wednesday May 16, 2007 at 3:27 pm EST
The exact time of the New Moon is 3:27 pm, but we’ll be feeling the energy two days before and one day after May 16th. Some of us will be “feeling it” up to a week in advance of the actual date. Taurus is the sign that rules the 2nd House of Money in the natural astrological chart, therefore the emphasis will be on what we have or what we don’t have. If we keep our focus on what we want and diminish the time thinking about what we don’t want, this will be a time of new opportunities and growth. Taurus is a fixed earth sign, with the key words: “I Have”. The New Moon in Taurus is a good time to give thanks for what we have in our lives right now, while writing down our goals and aspirations for the things we need and want. It’s also good time to pay homage to earth mother, the one that nourishes and sustains all life. During this New Moon period take time out to think about ways to help earth mother restore her balance. Are you recycling? Have you even taken the time to find out how you can be a more responsible keeper of the earth? The Taurus New Moon is a great time to plant new seeds or to add a plant to your home space. On the mental level, what kind of thoughts are you adding to the collective mind? Have you learned to let go of the past and forgive the people in your life whom you believe have crossed over your personal boundaries? The proof in the pudding will show up in your body. Anger and resentment destroy the cells in the body and create high blood pressure, and low energy. The New Moon in Taurus is a time to relieve yourself of the heavy load you might have been carrying from hurts and disappointments from the past. It’s interesting to me that many people can tell you why they’re against the war in Iraq , but on the personal level they refuse to budge when it comes to dismantling the little personal wars in their lives. Oh I know, it’s always the other person’s fault and if he or she would only change their ways there wouldn’t be a problem. But the only person we can change is ourselves and our attitudes towards others. While we might not stand toe to toe with our perceived enemy, a close relative or friend, we simply avoid them and worse talk about what they did to us with other people. The fact is peace begins from inside out. If we want peace in the world we have to start with our inner circles, the place where it takes courage to do something to change the situation. Not ready to talk to the perceived enemy, a close relative or friend? Then you can do the forgiveness work in your meditation. Send the other person pink hearts, or call their face into mind and say…”I forgive you, I release you, I set you free”. Actually you’ll be freeing yourself as you’re freeing the other person…so it’s a win, win situation.

The New Moon in Taurus, happens one day after Mars, the action planet moves into Aries (from May 14th until June 24th). While Mars in Aries, the sign that it rules; makes us want to speed up, the Taurus energy wants us to slow down and take our time. It’s all about finding a balance, listening to our intuition and body that will be giving us signals…when to stop and rest and when to move full speed ahead. While it’s hard to imagine it, but Mars in Aries can increase aggression on the planet, the use of guns, car accidents (due to excessive speed), arguments (based on ego conflicts). As we’re witnessing the goings on, just keep your cool and stay out of the way of negative energy. The news is bound to be full of gross stories (another mass shooting, or another intense weather system?), that cause anxiety and grief among the masses. Actually, collectively we can send Light to people and places under stress. We can be the unseen angels to people who are in need. Just keep in mind that we chose to be born during this time of great change, and that we have everything we need to get through it. Some will be surviving while others will be thriving…and much depends on whether you’re looking up or looking down. Look up, stay positive and enjoy your life.

FullMoon BLUE MOON IN SAGITTARIUS

May 31, 2007 at 9:04 PM
We’ve already had Full Moon in Scorpio, at the beginning of this month (5/2/07) and now we’ll be experiencing another Full Moon, this time in Sagittarius, on Thursday, May 31, 2007 at 9:04 PM. Traditionally, astrologers refer to the second Full Moon in one month’s time as The Blue Moon. But fear not, having two Full Moons in one month can be the ultimate cosmic bargain, i.e. two opportunities to use your emotional and imaginative energies to focus on your intended desires.

The Full Moon in Sagittarius, will be joining two other planets already in the sign…Jupiter, planet of expansion and joy, and Pluto, planet of transformation and power. These three planets will also be magically connected to Mars in Aries and Saturn in Leo. The combination of all these planets in Fire Signs is called a Grand Trine in Fire. The predominance of Fire on this Blue Moon can surely lift your energies, inspire you to get out and travel, be in nature and/or to make confident steps towards your goals. Since this period coincides with the Memorial Day Holiday, it’s a given that many people will be packing their bags to travel, visit relatives, and to generally have fun, laughter, good food and good times.

OK, so that’s the good news. Now comes the warning…while there is a strong potential for good on this Blue Moon, there is also the potential of travel hazards, accidents, and bizarre behaviors from religious zealots, which by the way comes under the auspices of dear Sagg. Uranus, the revolutionary and unpredictable planet will be forming a tense square to the three planets in Sagittarius. This could be a sudden change in the weather, a hurricane or tornado or an accident involving many people due to mechanical failure. I’ve already sent out a notice to New Yorkers about the subways for this time, to avoid them if possible, or at least pray before entering them. At this time on the planet, it is extremely important to stay tuned in, to learn to listen to your inner voice, to pay attention to the subtle signals that might be urging to go another way.

I don’t want to put fear thoughts into your mind because fear is the energy that draws to you what you don’t want. What I want to inspire you to do is to stay prayed up and still continue on with your intended plans for this time. In other words, before you leave the house put the Robe of Light around you and loved ones. This prayer can be found on this website under The Power of Prayer. We’ve used this prayer for over 30 years now and literally have witnessed how it has kept us safe while in the midst of danger.

This can be a joyful time of expansion and spiritual growth, or a time of tragedy, mindless arguments, and fights over ideologies. Thankfully, we all have choice in these matters, as there is no arbitrary God in the sky who will decide to give some people grief while making other people happy. We are co-creators with the Divine force and what happens to us is dependant on our consistent thinking and feeling, coupled with our deep seated beliefs.

Stay positive, spread the joy around and keep the Robe of Light around you.

Love & Light, Ayesh

FullMoon FULL MOON IN SCORPIO

Wednesday May 2, 2007 at 6:09 am EST
At 6:09 am, Wednesday May 2, 2007, the Moon will be full

in the sign of Scorpio. Truth be told, it's not my favorite

time of year because this Full Moon is at a square angle

to my Sun in Leo. In fact all the fixed signs, Taurus, Leo,

and Aquarius will be feeling the Full Moon's vibration

a little more intensely than the other signs. And of course

Scorpio's will be feeling more emotional since this is the

one time of year when the Full Moon will be in their sign.

However, whether you're born under a fixed sign or any

other sign we can get through this period if we flow with

the energy, allow ourselves to be flexible and keep our

minds focused on the good things in life. The negative

side effects of this Full Moon, especially for the fixed signs,

is a lag of energy, feelings of discouragement, and a tendency

to let our minds linger on past events. In a better world we'd

all have the luxury to take a mini vacation and escape

our daily routines. But in the real world many of us will be

putting aside our desires and inner feelings to be responsible

and take care of the things on our “to do” lists. It is advised

that sometime during this Full Moon period, which begins on

Mon. April 30, and ends on Thurs. May 3rd, you purposely set

aside some time to pray, meditate and to do something that

makes you feel good. Since the Full Moon is in a water sign,

it's a good idea to make a spiritual connection with water. Take

a long hot bath, or soak your feet in a basin of water. Tape a

prayer affirmation to your water bottle, i.e. if you need an

emotional lift, write Joy, Joy, Joy! on a piece of paper and

tape it so the words are facing the water. Then as you drink

the water imagine that it's a magical elixir that's filling your

body with joy. In other words be proactive and purposely do

things to use the Full Moon energy to your advantage.

ON THE NEWSFRONT

Full Moon in Scorpio, the sign of passion and desire, usually

brings news about sex crimes, rapes, murders, crimes of

revenge and/or passion. As the news media focuses on the

the most gross events possible (if it bleeds it leads), it's a good

idea to go on a news fast, turn to the comedy channel or watch

sports, or turn the thing off and listen to some good music. The

front runners in the Democratic race for president will both be

effected by the Full Moon in Scorpio, as Obama is a Leo, and

Clinton is a Scorpio. If I was an advisor on their teams, I'd tell

them to take the day off, to rest, regenerate, reflect and pray.

Well, already I've read that Hillary's voice has given out and she

might have to take some time out for healing. There's also another news story building involving Condaleesa Rice, a triple

Scorpio, who's top aide has resigned in a sex scandal. But with

these people you never know what's really going on behind the

scenes, as truth is hard to find in political arenas and in the media. You'll have to read between the lines, trust your intuition

and let your inner guides lead you to the truth. Case in point,

back in the 90's a jogger was raped in Central Park and six

youths were charged and convicted of the crime. At the time

of the event, the Full Moon was in Scorpio. Even though many

of us never believed the lie, it was many years later, after the

children served out their sentences that the real rapist admitted

his crime. As usual the media acted in concert with prosecutors and focused the attention on the accused children while convincing most people that they were guilty months before the

trial. So whatever comes up in the news during this Full Moon period it would be wise to follow the adage: “believe none of what you hear, half of what you see”.

Above all, pace yourself, hydrate and exercise regularly, pray and meditate…this too shall pass as it always will.

Love & Light, Ayesha
