FULL MOON IN PISCES ECLIPSE

SEPTEMBER 7, 2006 – 2:52 PM (EDT)
The Full Moon Eclipse in Pisces happens on September 7th, 2006 at 2:52 pm, EDT. Sensitive people will be feeling a build up of energy, days before the actual event. Pisces is the sign that rules the black race in America. It also rules the 12th House of Hidden Matters in the astrological chart.

Pisces is the last sign (12th) in the zodiac and is often referred to as the sign of self undoing, the dustpan of the zodiac, the sign of serve or suffer. The planetary rulers are Neptune, the mystical planet of faith and compassion, or escapism and confusion, and Jupiter, planet of joy and expansion, or the opposite, too much fun, not knowing when-to-quit energy.

Most astrologers agree that Pisces is the sign of Jesus the Christ. If you’re interested there are many essays on the subject. Jesus, the man who embodied the Christ spirit, was a healer and a martyr, who used to fish (Pisces symbol) to identify his followers. There are also many Piscean symbols that connect with Jesus, the washing of the feet, Pisces rules the feet, turning water into wine, a Piscean beverage, and walking on water, the Piscean element.

So what should we be doing during the times of the eclipse? Prayer and meditation, of course. We all have the Christ spirit within. And in these days and times, we are being called upon to use it not only for our own work and fulfillment, but for the cause of humankind.

The eclipse is simply a perfect alignment between the Sun, Moon and Earth...the shadow of the earth blocks out the light from the Sun. We won’t physically see the eclipse in our longitude and latitude, but we feel it spiritually and psychically. In our meditations, we could call on the Christ spirit to guide and direct us. The question: “how can I serve?” is a good one to start with. Ask yourself are you giving back in this life? Are you too busy to volunteer for a worthy cause? Are you too broke to write a check or give a donation to someone in need? Are you honoring your teachers, and thus honoring God?

Pisces says “I Believe”. Check out your belief system. Is it working for you? So many have run hither and dither, trying out one modality and then another. The simple question is, “has my life improved since I joined the organization (group)”? Only you can answer that question. Are you using what you’ve been taught on a daily basis to help relieve the suffering in the world, your neighborhood? If you are truly a Christian, are you a forgiving and loving person (like Jesus), or just using your religion to put other people down? So many people opt to tell me upon first meeting, what their religion or belief system is...hahahaha, I don’t care. You can be Christian, Buddhist, Jewish, Muslim, or some other religion, I simply don’t care to know about. But I can tell you before you opened your mouth, I’ve observed you, watched how you walked into the room and could see your aura. That tells me much more than your words could ever tell. Are you a true believer? Are you walking your talk? Or, as the late Henry Rucker used to say, “just blowing smoke”.

This Full Moon Eclipse in Pisces will be intense. Some will feel a sense of tiredness and a need to get more rest. Listen to your body. Undoubtedly, the angels are working with you while your conscious mind is asleep.

I can vividly remember one Full Moon in Pisces when I tapped into the sorrowful side of Pisces, the whole “nobody-loves-me and I’m-feeling-sorry-for-myself” (smile). This was a time before I was consciously aware of how to use the energy. I had decided to go out and enjoy myself, why not? I was grown, had some money in my pocket. I did something I never ever do...and that was went a bar, sat down and ordered a drink. About ten drinks later I was feeling no pain, but couldn’t manage to get my thinking processes together.

Later, a kindly gentleman, put me into a cab. When I got home, I paid the price. My stomach was in an uproar. I was vomiting, wretching, lying on the bathroom floor, looking in the toilet and calling on God to help me. Ummm, when I later found out that the Full Moon was in Pisces, the sign of self-undoing, it all made sense to me. I had done it to myself.

So while you might want to attend a party, or gathering during the Full Moon in Pisces Eclipse, just make sure you do everything in moderation. Don’t become the victim of your own self undoing. Keep your awareness high (no pun intended), be the witness, but not the participator. And keep the faith.

With Love & Light, Ayesha

NEW MOON ECLIPSE IN VIRGO

SEPTEMBER 22, 2006 – 7:45 AM (EDT)
On September 22, at 7:45 am, EDT, the New Moon in Virgo will be eclipsed. We won’t see the eclipse with our physical eyes because it’ll be happening in longitudes and latitudes far away from the US.

Each time an eclipse occurs, there is an alignment between the planets involved. With a Solar Eclipse, the Sun and Moon are in perfect alignment while the Moon blocks out the light from the Sun. On the spiritual level, since the Moon represents all things maternal (mother, grandmother, children, the Divine feminine), the eclipse of the Sun will be felt .

So on this day, make the connection with your Divine feminine spirit. Send out love to all the special women in your life and give thanks for the nurturing you’ve received throughout the years. Give thanks for the children on the earth today, your's or/and other's. Getting in touch with the child-in-you is also a good way to acknowledge the Divine feminine. Living in serious times, adults need to be reminded of the days when they were child-like (not childish) and expectant of all good. Laugh and smile more, and appreciate the little things you’ve taken for granted for so many years. Be spontaneous and try something new. We get into a rut by always doing the same routine, the same way. Walk down a different side of the street, eat something different for lunch, take a walk in the park, hear or remember the laughter of children, open your mind to your Divine potential.

Write down your goals for the coming month, call someone you haven’t spoken to in a while, send a love letter to a relative living at a distance.

Virgo is the mutable earth sign that says “I analyze”. I think of mutable earth as tiny grains of sand on a beach, too numerous to count. Virgo is also the sign of the Virgin, the perfectionist, the one who demands perfection of herself, as well as others. The biggest lesson for Virgo is to learn that on this plane of existence, there is no such thing as perfection; that we all make mistakes and it’s all right to be human. Worry is a negative side effect of Virgo, and I often remind them that worry is a prayer for what you don’t want. Behind the worry habit is the need to control everything and everybody.

On the New Moon in Virgo eclipse, practice the art of being in the moment...be here now...not somewhere in the imaginary future. We say to Virgo people “don’t sweat the small stuff...and it is all small stuff”. However, that motto also is useful to all of us. One astrologer recently wrote: the Virgo is that woman who is busily cleaning the house while an earthquake is happening outside. In other words, the tendency to obsess over details, while missing the bigger picture, is a Virgo habit.

Let’s not get caught up in the negative aspect of Virgo. Institute the positive attributes, i.e. the willingness to be supportive to others in little ways, paying attention to health, diet and nutrition, organizing important paperwork in neat and tidy ways, sharing advice based on good common sense to those who might be confused.

Enjoy this time and monitor how you’re using the Virgo energy. Whether you were born in Virgo, or have planets in Virgo, we’ll all be feeling the Virgo energy. Each Natal Chart has twelve houses and one of them will have Virgo on the cusp. Knowing where Virgo is operating in your life could help you to use it to it’s fullest, most positive extent.
