FULL MOON IN TAURUS

SUNDAY, NOV. 5th, 2006 – 1:14AM (EST)
BELOVEDS, This Full Moon period, starting on the 3rd, and ending on the 6th, will be a particularly intense period, especially for individuals born under the fixed signs, i.e. Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius. That's because there will be a Grand Square in fixed signs and 5 planets in Scorpio: the Sun, Retrograde Mercury, Venus, Mars and Jupiter. These five planets will be forming a square (90 degree angle) to Neptune in Aquarius and Saturn in Leo, while opposing the Full Moon in Taurus. The chart for the exact time of the Full Moon (7:58 am, est) also comes up with Scorpio Rising.

The Grand Square has an "either, or" feeling that comes with it. EITHER you're going to stay in a spiritual mode, pray, meditate, "be" the peace you want for the world in your relationships with other humans, OR you're going to react to what's going on with anger, resentment, fear and anxiety. The good thing is that we all have a choice in these matters. On the good side, the Full Moon in Taurus is an excellent period to be vigilant about your prayer life. It's a good time to hunker down and say those prosperity prayers with increased energy and belief.

My teacher, Isabel Hickey, gave us a positive look at Grand Squares. As students we were somewhat fearful and anxious about a Grand Square that was coming up. Issie laughed and told us that it would be what we make it. That the hidden message in the Grand Square was that we could turn it into a Grand Trine (easeful harmonious aspect), if we dealt with the situations in our lives from a spiritual perspective. She also reminded us that "this too shall pass." And that we didn't have to make decisions that would affect us in the long term; we could wait it out and stay positive in knowing that nothing lasts forever. During that time, we all were reading astrology magazines and tuning into the negative predictions about the upcoming Grand Square. We wanted to believe her but our conscious minds had soaked up every negative idea that other astrologers had predicted. But the Grand Square came and passed. Except for some nervous energy in my stomach, I don't remember any disastrous thing happening for me personally. As I walked the streets of Harlem, I did observe arguments between neighbors and read about a train accident involving many people.

With the emphasis on five planets in Scorpio, and Scorpio Rising, there's an air of mystery and secretiveness with this Grand Square. All of the planets in Scorpio will be in the 12th House of Hidden Things. With the upcoming election, I could think of actions being maneuvered behind-the-scenes, while political pundits predict that the Democrats will take over the House of Representatives. Due to Mercury being retrograde during the Full Moon, I also believe that what's done under cover will be revealed when Mercury turns direct on the Nov. 17th.

Meanwhile, the weather is bound to be a story again, as it has been for most of this year. Five planets in water suggest increased precipitation, flooding in some areas, and snow in the higher elevations. What ever it is, just keep in mind that you have everything you need to flow (like water) through this period successfully. In fact, you could have fun being the witness of, but not the participator in, any of the events happening during this time. Quietly observe the actions of others and be thankful that you know what's happening on the cosmic level.

Keep the Light around you, meditate and pray for what you want with the faith that the seeds sown now will eventually become a reality.

Love & Light, Ayesha

NEW MOON IN SCORPIO

NOV. 20, 2006 5:18PM (EST)
New Moons are times to make new starts, plant new seeds to wipe the slate clean and start all over again. We feel born again as the Sun and the Moon join together in the same sign.

The New Moon in Scorpio, the sign of rebirth and transformation, will energize us to use our will power to go for our goals and to refuse to tie into any negative circumstance. On this day it’s a good idea to write down your goals for the future and put them in a place where they are easily accessible. We have a choice to either complain about what’s not happening in our lives, or to creatively design the solutions that we desire. If you’re struggling with problems that don’t seem to be going away, write them down on the left hand side of your notebook, and then write the desired outcome or solution to them on the right hand side of the paper. There is an answer to every problem, but sometimes we get caught up in what’s not happening, instead of focusing on the solution.

The New Moon happens at 28 degrees and 27 minutes of Scorpio, in other words, in the last degrees of the sign. Before the week is out, the Sun and Jupiter will have moved into Sagittarius and the intensity of Scorpio will be overshadowed by the lighthearted fun filled energy of Sagittarius. Also, Mercury has turned direct on the 17th, giving us the green light to move full speed ahead with plans for the future.

On the Scorpio New Moon, we will be completing the online meditation for 'Divine Right Mate' and then simultaneously beginning our meditations on prosperity. If you’re interested in joining the meditation group for prosperity, send an e-mail to: ayeshagrice@gmail.com with “I’m In” typed in the subject line.We will begin on Nov. 20th and end on Dec. 20th. Registration for the prosperity group will close on Nov. 19th.

Let’s come together and use the powerful energy of the New Moon in Scorpio to our fullest advantage.

Love & Light, Ayesha
