July 2006 - Beloveds, July promises to be an exciting month as it starts off on the 4th with Mercury, planet of the rational mind and communications, in Leo going retrograde (apparent backward movement).
On the 10th, Mercury moves back into Cancer and stays there until the 29th. This aspect will require us to be patient and loving when interacting with others. Retrograde Mercury gives us time to rethink or redo projects and requires us to consult our inner guides (intuition) before making important decisions.
We experience Retrograde Mercury four times a year so if you've been in tune with your inner self, the whisperings of your soul, you'll gladly welcome this cycle. Remember it's all God and all good for those who have learned to flow with the energies. Some things will change or some events will be cancelled. We might even change our minds about something or others might take back a promise. It's not what's happening, but our reaction to it that will make the difference. The last Mercury Retrograde period for this year will be in late October. If you learn how to use this one correctly, the next one will be a breeze.
Also this month, Mars the action planet will be in Leo until the 22nd, along with Saturn, planet of discipline, which is slowly moving along until Sept. 2, 2007. Mars makes us want to move along quickly, sometimes impulsively, while Saturn slows down the action. When these two planets come together in the same sign, the results can have a violent outcome. You might have noticed an increase in news about violent crimes, stabbings, and shootings on the rise. Most of these situations have occurred between people who know each other. Sadly, domestic crime has been on the rise since Mars went into Leo on June 4th.
But the good news is that higher evolved souls have made inroads on personal projects and are working more diligently to make the dream a reality. These people have learned to flow in the direction of the river... "Don't push the river" is their mantra these days. In all these matters we have free will and choice.
Of course the above planetary positions, Retrograde Mercury, Mars and Saturn in Leo, will have an effect on our weather patterns. Expect to experience extremes in the weather, from hot (Mars) to cold (Saturn). As Mercury's retrograde action pulls the planet back into Cancer on the 10th, (Full Moon) the potential for an increase of water, floods and/or hurricanes are a great potential.
Also since Leo rules the heart, we are witnessing heart disease as being the new star in the medical community. We have the power to heal our heart muscles, by deciding to do cardio-vascular activities, i.e. walking, running, swimming, and eating a diet that will strengthen our hearts. The choice is yours, and choice there must be.
